These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and TECHNOVISION ENGINEERS ("Company", "we", "us"), the owner and operator of FortunaShri. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using FortunaShri, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Nature of Service & Eligibility

FortunaShri is a Vedic astrology and numerology application providing educational, entertainment, and informational content based on traditional Vedic knowledge systems. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you warrant that all information provided is accurate, complete, and current.

• You must provide truthful, accurate registration information — fake mobile numbers or email identifiers are prohibited
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is prohibited
• Account sharing with other individuals is prohibited

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, source code, algorithms, user interface designs, calculation engines (including Algorithm 3.0), databases, text, graphics, and branding within FortunaShri are the exclusive intellectual property of TECHNOVISION ENGINEERS, protected under Indian copyright law.

• The FortunaShri name, logo, and branding are registered trademarks — unauthorized use is strictly prohibited

• Using App calculations to operate an unlicensed commercial advisory or consultancy business
• Attempting to hack, probe, or test the security or vulnerability of the App or its servers
• Uploading malicious code, viruses, or any content that could harm the App or other users
• Impersonating FortunaShri or its team members in any public forum
• Collecting, harvesting, or storing other users' personal data
• Using the App for any unlawful purpose under Indian law

5. Subscriptions, the Free Trial, Payments & Refunds

Core features of FortunaShri are free of charge and remain so. Paid tiers (Pro and Elite) are governed by this section, by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and — for anything bought in the app — by Google Play's own terms. The current tiers and prices are listed on the Plans & Pricing page.

5.1 Where subscriptions are sold

• Subscriptions are purchased inside the FortunaShri app through Google Play Billing. For those purchases Google is the seller of record, and Google Play's terms apply alongside these Terms.
• fortunashri.com is an information site with no checkout. Prices shown there are for information; the amount Google Play displays at checkout is the amount you pay.
• We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payment credentials are handled entirely by the payment provider.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable GST under Indian tax law. The tax invoice for an in-app purchase is issued by Google.

5.2 The 7-day free trial

5.2 7-दिन का मुफ़्त परीक्षण

• One trial per account, ever. Each account may start one free trial, once, for the lifetime of that account. It cannot be restarted, and deleting and recreating an account does not reset the entitlement.
• The trial grants the Elite feature set for 7 calendar days counting the day it starts, ending at 23:59 on the seventh day in your own timezone.
• No payment method is collected to start a trial. It therefore cannot convert into a paid subscription, and nothing is charged when it ends — the account simply returns to the Free tier.
• During a trial you may browse forecasts and Muhurta for today and tomorrow only. Browsing further ahead is part of a paid plan.
• Name Correction analysis is excluded from the trial and requires a paid Pro or Elite plan. The app states this before you start, and the confirmation screen does not list it among what the trial opens.
• We may change the trial's length, the tier it grants or what it excludes for future trials. A trial already running is unaffected.
• Abusing the trial — creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials — is a breach of section 2 and may result in termination under section 8.2.

5.3 Auto-renewal

• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Google Play charges the renewal on the day the current period ends.
• To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date — Google Play's own cut-off.
• Moving between tiers or between monthly and yearly replaces the existing subscription rather than creating a second one, and Google prorates the unused portion.

5.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason, in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Cancelling stops future charges. It does not end the period you have already paid for, which continues to its last day; the account then returns to the Free tier automatically.
• Deleting your FortunaShri account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel in Google Play first, or Play will keep charging you.

• आप बिना कारण बताए, कभी भी Google Play → भुगतान और सदस्यताएं → सदस्यताएं में रद्द कर सकते हैं।
• रद्द करने से आगे के शुल्क रुक जाते हैं। जिस अवधि का भुगतान आप कर चुके हैं वह समाप्त नहीं होती, वह अपने अंतिम दिन तक चलती है; उसके बाद खाता स्वतः मुफ़्त स्तर पर लौट आता है।
• आपका FortunaShri खाता हटाने से Google Play सदस्यता रद्द नहीं होती। पहले Google Play में रद्द करें, अन्यथा Play शुल्क लेता रहेगा।

5.5 Refunds

• Because Google is the seller of record for in-app purchases, refunds for them are decided and issued by Google under Google Play's refund policy. We cannot process a Play refund ourselves.
• We will support your refund request to Google where the fault is ours — a paid feature that never unlocked, a feature withdrawn mid-period, a duplicate charge caused by our error, extended unavailability on our side, or the permanent shutdown of a tier you had paid for.
• Outside those cases, subscription fees are not refunded merely because an astrological reading did not match an outcome; the App sells access to Vedic calculations, not predictions of fact (see section 6 and the Disclaimer).
• No refund or partial credit is issued for an account terminated for breach of these Terms (section 8.3).
• Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law. Where this section and that law conflict, the law prevails.
• The full procedure, including timelines, is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5.6 Price changes and what a plan does not buy

• We may change prices with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Google Play additionally asks you to confirm before charging a higher amount.
• We may add, change or withdraw individual features within a tier. If a feature material to your tier is withdrawn mid-period, section 5.5 applies.
• A paid plan opens more of the App. It does not convert any output into financial, legal or medical advice, and it does not alter section 6 or the Disclaimer in any way.

• We are not liable for any financial losses arising from acting on astrological signals or calculations
• We are not liable for data loss due to device failure, uninstallation, or user error
• We are not liable for third-party infrastructure outages (Supabase, hosting providers, CDNs)

• FortunaShri ऐप के आपके उपयोग से उत्पन्न होने वाले किसी भी अप्रत्यक्ष, आकस्मिक, परिणामी, या दंडात्मक नुकसान के लिए उत्तरदायी नहीं होगा

8. App Discontinuation & Account Termination

8.1 Right to Modify or Shut Down

FortunaShri reserves the absolute right to modify, suspend, or permanently shut down the App, its website, or any individual feature at any moment, for any reason, without prior notice. In the event of a total App shutdown, TECHNOVISION ENGINEERS shall have zero legal, financial, or contractual liability to users.

8.2 Right to Terminate Accounts

We reserve the right to immediately terminate any user account without prior notice if you: violate these Terms; provide false registration data; attempt to reverse-engineer the App; use automated tools to harvest data; use the App for unauthorized commercial advisory services; or if required by a valid court order or regulatory directive.

Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases instantly. No refunds or partial credits will be issued for accounts terminated due to violations. For every other refund situation, see section 5.5 and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
